Children ages 4 – 10 are invited to a fun morning of exploring how to care for the earth. We will talk about our responsibility to take care of the earth through recycling, composting, and picking up garbage. We’ll meet a bucket of worms who turn food waste into dirt; collect garbage and recycling in Tower Park; create art projects using recycled materials; sing, play games and meet other children who care about the earth.
Leaders for the morning include experienced teachers and parents: Carol Aasen, Rebekah Richards, Liz Richards and Montana Johnson.
Parents are welcome to participate or to drop off children. Free and open to everyone!
