Funeral for a Friend | Holy Week Service
Join us for this unique service, “Funeral for a Friend.” It will not be a “Maundy Thursday Service”, though it will fall on that day. It’s a Holy Week Service wherein we hold a Memorial Service for Jesus, hence the name (which is a title I stole from Elton John). All are welcome to join us on the third Wednesday of each month from 5:30-6:30pm for a free community meal in Community Hall. Meals will be nutritious, tasty, and balanced with no pork. Habitat for Humanity Weekend Project
Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Opportunity: PPUMC works with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity jointly with two other congregations: St Frances Cabrini and St. Cecilia. The 3 churches together are called “Tres Iglesias.” Tres Iglesias has scheduled the second of two “Weekend Work Events” for 2026. We will be working: Friday and Saturday, April 17 & 18.
